Petition of extraditing Meng Wanzhou

Dear Canada Ambassador,

On December 1, the Canada government arrested Mrs. Meng Wanzhou, Who is the CFO of Huawei. She is a suspect of fraud crimes in the US and was wanted by US government. The US Justice Department will make extradition request in the near future. Although she got bail on December 11, we strongly request that the Canada government should extradite her as soon as possible. There are two reasons she should be extradited from Canada soon:

Firstly, Huawei and Meng Wanzhou are the important tools of controlling and cracking down Chinese people by the Chinese Communist Party government. Huawei and Meng Wanzhou helped the Chinese government build up a huge surveillance system all over China, such as "peaceful city” project, “bright village” project, “Gold Shield” project. A large number of people were arrested and sentenced because of this surveillance system. Huawei and Meng Wanzhou collaborated with the Chinese government to damaged and deprived Chinese people’s human rights: speech freedom, publish freedom and political freedom.

Secondly, Huawei and Meng Wanzhou helped the Chinese government steal all kinds of information from foreign countries through Huawei’s telecommunication and internet equipments. So many western countries refused to use Huawei’s equipments and services. On the other hand, Huawei and Meng Wanzhou violated the law of sanctioning Iran and North Korean. They help rogue and dictatorship regimes in the world. Therefore, Huawei and Meng Wanzhou has damaged the peace and freedom of the world.

In conclusion, because Huawei and Meng Wanzhou not only persecuted Chinese people but also damaged the peace and freedom of the whole world, they destroyed the human fundamental values. We hope the Canada government and judicial system should extradite Meng Wanzhou as soon as possible.
